In 1964, Gary's parents, Bob and Julie Steinwachs moved from Buffalo, New York, and established Buffalo Bill's. As the area grew so did the business. They started as a coffee shop on Venice Ave and by the late 70's catering was the mainstay. In 1982, when Gary and Lucy were just newlyweds, they bought the business. Since then they have made it their mission to produce successful parties for their community.
Buffalo Bill's Catering Services and White Roses Banquets & Catering are located inside the new commercial kitchen of the Venice- Nokomis Elk's Lodge, just off Knights Trail in North Venice. They operate the Elks's Restaurant as well as catering banquets in their beautiful new hall. From this facility, they operate their large award winning off-site catering business. Recently, Gary has added a new division of catering: "Oak-Smoked" BBQ.
